Kid Ink epitomizes hard work. After just dropping his debut major label release My Own Lane earlier this year, he has already started working on his sophomore project for RCA. Earlier this week, he released the first single to his untitled project, "Body Language" featuring Usher and label-mate, Tinashe. Despite being hard at work, Kid managed to sit down with RIDE OR DIE TV for an interview, and touched on the on-going events in Ferguson. In addition, he spoke about growing up during the LA Riots.

"It's regular for me. You know, it's not something out of the ordinary. I was living in the heart of the big LA Riots that happened back in the day. I seen all that. I was walking to the grocery store when all that happened," said Kid Ink.

In addition, Kid Ink explained how the riots were second nature to him growing up.

"Man, we had riots out in LA for Laker games. So, I mean the riot thing is not really the biggest situation and neither is the police situation. We have gang police in LA that only focus on African American and Hispanic gangs. So we're always getting picked on," he said.
