Despite her engagement to Los Angeles Lakers guard Nick Young hitting a bit of turbulence last week, Iggy Azalea's 2016 iHeart Radio Music Awards performance still took flight Sunday night (April 3), as the Aussie rapper performed her new single "Team." Azalea is joined by quite the team of dancers as well, in a performance that Demi Lovato said was the only one to require FAA approval.

The aviation theme in the above performance takes inspiration from the "Team" video, which just dropped this past week. In it, Iggy makes her way through an airport before performing on the tarmac with a crew of similarly dressed dancers. Above, the plane serves as a central prop, blowing out smoke from its rear-facing engines.

While Iggy's performance of "Team" further promotes her upcoming sophomore album Digital Distortion, her iHeart Radio Music Awards appearance is stirring some dialogue after the rapper was spotted still rocking the 8.15 carat yellow diamond engagement ring Nick Young gave her back in June. The state of her engagement to Young was seriously in question after Young's Lakers teammate D'Angelo Russell secretly recorded him detailing some of his non-Iggy advancements. Azalea responded to the video leak with a single tweet, thanking Russell for his handiwork. That she was still wearing the engagement ring on the iHeart Radio Music Awards red carpet could be an indication that she plans on making things with Young work out, or a a gesture of familiarity.

Watch the "Team" performance up above, with Digital Distortion expected to drop at some point this summer.
