Happy Birthday DMX

<em>XXL</em> would like to wish a happy birthday to DMX, who turns 42 today. Born in Baltimore and raised in Yonkers, Earl Simmons has experienced an illustrious roller coaster of a career as a platinum-selling rapper, actor, and reality star.

From his start in The Source's "Unsigned Hype" column in 1991, to his recent appearance on VH1's <em>Couples Therapy</em>, X has remained one of the most notorious and singular talents in the game.

Now five platinum albums deep, the Ruff Ryder released <em>Undisputed</em> in September and has two films in the works for 2013.
