Gucci Mane announced a new project via Instagram yesterday (Oct. 20), which he's calling The Machine. "The Machine by @laflare1017 coming early 2016," the caption reads in the photo above. The title of the forthcoming project isn't surprising given Guwop's recent letter to fans. "The difference between me and the average entertainer is they dream of signing to a major label so they can have this giant machine push them and propel them to stardom, but I don't have that dream," he explained in the open letter. "My reality is I am all I got. I am the machine behind me."

Gucci's referring to himself as a machine is rather fitting. He's been incarcerated for nearly two years, serving time for federal gun charges. Despite this, the 1017 leader has managed to stay consistent as a rapper, dropping new projects left and right. He hit us with three albums in March, followed by his Dessert EP the following week. In April came his Trap House 5: The Final Chapter mixtape followed by King Gucci in May. The "Icy" rapper skipped June, but came back with Trapology in July and now prepares The Machine for an early 2016 release. As if that wasn't enough, Guwop was also planning on releasing a feature film called The Spot this month, but the movie has been pushed back to a November release.
