Future Drops “Havin It” With Zaytoven

Future just dropped off a new heater called "Havin It" featuring Freebandz artists Maceo and produced by the notorious Zaytoven. You can hear it above.

The song will naturally evoke thoughts of Beast Mode, the 2015 mixtape that Future and Zaytiggy cooked up. That mixtape is equal parts woozy and energetic, and "Havin It" falls in the latter category.

Future and Zay have worked well together for years now. Ever since the days of "Made Myself a Boss," these two have an excellent chemistry. According to Zaytoven, they have over 100 tracks in the stash together.

Earlier this year, Zaytoven jumped on Instagram and posted a picture with Future teasing Beast Mode 2. In a later interview, the producer said they had something a little different planned.

“We have Future’s Beast Mode 16. We did Beast Mode already, but we’re calling this one Beast Mode 16,” Zaytoven explained. “I think in July it’s supposed to be coming out. This one is more like an album. It’s going to be like an Apple Music release, so it’s not going to be just a mixtape. I’m excited about that too.”

XXL recently spoke to Zaytoven and talked to him about the future of 1017, whether we'll be hearing any Guwop and Future collabs in the future, and a potential tape from Drake and Gucci together.

"We were doing the video for Gucci Mane’s first video for the album," Zay explains about a picture on Drake's IG with Aubrey, Mike Will, Guwop and Zaytoven. "It was featuring Young Thug but Young Thug wasn’t there yet. We were in there talking and Drake just came by because he was in town and wanted to stop through. We just got to talkin’ about doing a project together — Gucci and Drake together."
