Formula One champ Lewis Hamilton is looking to take his musical talents to the Roc. The 30-year-old driver is in talks with Jay Z about putting out songs on the music mogul's Roc Nation imprint, reports The Sun. A source said: "Lewis has been talking to a few music industry figures about his music, including Jay Z's Roc Nation team. It's early days but it looks more and more likely that he will release some of the songs."

According to the source, Hamilton isn't just a millionaire with money to blow experimenting on music. He is serious about his craft. "Lewis spends a lot of time in the studio, works with big name collaborators and takes it all seriously," said the source. "Formula One is still his number one priority but don't be surprised if Lewis tries for a pop career, too."

Ham echoed his passion for music. "Every country I go to I find a studio to record," he said. "Instead of going out after the race, I like to go down to the studio and put down thoughts." He has reportedly been recording with some big name producers including Rodney Jerkins.

Lewis previously met Hov in a studio along with Timbaland and Beyoncé, where, according to him, Jigga chose the track list for his debut. "I wish I could've taken a picture because it was one of the best moments of my life," said Lewis.

There's no shortage of an influx of talent into Jay Z's Roc Nation ventures. He recently signed Cipha Sounds to a management deal as well a acquiring former University of Georgia running back Todd Gurley for his sports division. Does the racer turned crooner have what it takes to be a Roc Boy?
