After hitting stores yesterday (June 14), it appears that Bad Meets Evil’s EP Hell: The Sequel is edging ahead to claim the #1 spot on next weeks charts.

The Eminem and Royce Da 5’9’’ collaboration is expected to sell between 150,000 and 160,000 copies, according to the industry insiders at hitsdailydouble.com.

The Shady/Interscope release is anticipated to outsell it’s biggest competitor, America’s Got Talent alum Jackie Evancho’s Dream With Me, which is on track to sell between 140,000 and 150,000 units according to one-day sales figures.

Hell: The Sequel features appearances from fellow Shady members Slaughterhouse and singer-songwriter Bruno Mars, who appears on the album’s second single, “Lighters.”

The official Nielsen SoundScan numbers will be available Wednesday, June 22. Be sure to visit XXLMag.com at that time, to see if Bad Meets Evil did indeed claim the top spot. —Martin Spasov
