After a long wait, Dom Kennedy's Get Home Safely is set to arrive unmolested in stores, October 15. The OPM MC recently took CivilTV for a rendezous through his hometown Leimert Park pointing out the thriving black business community before a stop at what is presumably his childhood pad to chop it up about the new album. "Get Home Safely is the story of a kid who did all that," he said. "He went around the world. He met some people he wanted to meet. He did some things he set out to do. But, its like, you got to come back home. To do all of that, you realize it's a circle."
