It was a return of sorts to the New York City area for Young Money superstar Lil Wayne as he continues to roll on with his "I Am Music" tour alongside fellow budding mogul Rick Ross, protégé Nicki Minaj and rock drummer Travis Barker. Last night (March 28) capping a two night engagement, Weezy and company rocked a packed Nassau Coliseum in Long Island – well outside of New York City proper.

Some fans will recall Lil Wayne stating in his Rolling Stone magazine interview that he’d never perform in New York City again unless they met his unyielding demand. “They’d have to pay me U2 money,” said the New Orleans native who served a year in New York’s Rikers Island prison due to gun charges incurred while in the city.
