  1985: On Jan. 21, 1985, innovative hip-hop duo Run-DMC released their sophomore album, King of Rock. Today marks the 30 year anniversary to their genre-blending collection. With a heavy rock-n-roll influence intertwined throughout the entire nine track album, the Hollis, Queens group garnered major crossover appeal on King of Rock.
