Busta Rhymes’ ‘Extinction Level Event,’ Now And Then
Less than a week ago, Busta Rhymes announced that he would be naming his new album E.L.E. 2. The project, which is a followup to his 1998 album E.L.E.: The Final World Front, will be Busta's 10th studio LP. After being in the game for 17 years, dude's clearly come a long way and has always managed to stay relevant, but just as Busta's switched up his flows and cadences over the years, he's also drastically updated his style and general look. The most notable change in Bus is his immense shift from the lanky and animated Busta we once knew to the beefcake persona that he's embraced in recent years. So, since E.L.E. 2 marks a return to his roots, XXL decided to take a look at Busta Rhymes now and then. Also, check out the side-by-side photos above of Busta in 1998 and 2013. Crazy, right?
