Black Thought has rhymes for days. The Roots member is truly one of the best when it comes to the art of rapping. Black Thought takes on any challenge and steps up to spit gems. The latest instance of this took place during an appearance at Harvard University.

The talented MC stopped by Harvard's i-Lab as part of the Other Side Speaker Series. When the host asked if Black Thought was willing to kick a freestyle he shared earlier in the day, the Philadelphia native decided to do him one better with a new one. After taking a moment to collect himself, Black Thought spit a nearly five minute freestyle for those in attendance.

"We living in some times that's the craziest/They say these legislators are the laziest/Dedicated religious figures have gone atheist/Each and everything must change, there's no escaping this/I'm on a block post-apocalyptic smoke covers/Coincidentally presented by the Koch brothers/The magnitude of this is bigger than the both of us/The attitude is tryna manage not to choke from it/Go and get the bolt cutters, open the flood gate/And relationship I've been in was love-hate/The city I was living in never really was safe/For some a temporary resolution was duct tape," Black Thought rapped.

This freestyle was just another instance of Black Thought showing the world his elite skill as a rapper. Whether it's something off the dome like this appearance at Harvard or murdering a track as he recently did on a 9th Wonder beat, very few can match the rhyming ability of Black Thought.
