Big K.R.I.T. to Drop New Mixtape Before Album

Big K.R.I.T. may have had to push his album back, but he’s not going to make fans wait for new material much longer.

K.R.I.T.’s official DJ, Wally Sparks tweeted today that the Mississippi native and XXL Freshman will drop a free mixtape very soon that will be released before his album, Live From The Underground, which is now set for an early 2012 debut.

Originally, Live From The Underground was set for a September 27 release before being pushed to the first quarter of 2012 mainly due to issues with sample clearances [see video below]. –Jakinder Singh
