Benzino Gets An Apology From AirTran After Being Kicked Off Flight

According to TMZ Love & Hip Hop Atlanta star, Benzino has been issued an apology from AirTran Airways.

The “Hip Hop Weekly” owner was allegedly kicked off his connecting flight from Los Vegas to Atlanta Tuesday for going off on a flight attendant.

The former rapper told TMZ that his reaction was based on the treatment he received from the flight attendant when he and his new wife proceeded to take their First Class seats.  He claims that the attendant questioned them because of their color  and attendant demanded to see their tickets.

"They basically were talking to me very disrespectful and came at me inappropriate. That’s why I was upset about the situation. I am not the one to scream the race card unless I truly believe I am being treated not equal," Benzino said.

Since the incident he says that an airline rep has apologized and he and his wife have received two $200 vouchers from Southwest, which merged with AirTran a few years ago.
