August Alsina Rocks The Crowd With His First Hot 97’s Summer Jam Performance

After a couple of months that included an infamous "106 & Park" appearance and a spot on XXL's 2014 Freshmen, August Alsina got another moment to shine on the Festival Stage for Summer Jam. The R&B crooner looked like he flourished in front of one of his biggest crowds.

Although he doesn't have as extensive catalogue as some of the other performers, Alsina got the audience to stick with him throughout the over 20-minute set, whether he was performing "Ghetto" or "I Luv This Shit." The spirited performance came a day after the singer angrily ended a show in Little Rock, Ark. because a member of that audience took his hat.
