Atlanta-based rapper Yung Joc was arrested this morning (Dec 24) for carrying a loaded handgun while attempting to go through a security checkpoint at Cleveland, Ohio's Hopkins International Airport, according local news outlet NewsNet5. Authorities claim they found a semiautomatic weapon in Joc's carry-on luggage after which he was arrested, brought to the Cuyahoga County Jail and charged with carrying a concealed weapon. In addition to the state charge, the 27-year-old rapper could face federal charges under the Air Piracy Act.

Joc was released later today on $50,000 bond, but he is scheduled to be arraigned on Wednesday. His lawyer claims that the rapper maintains his innocence. Joc's sophomore album Hustlenomics was released in August on Block Entertainment/Bad Boy South.
