Gunplay has been released from jail. According to NBC Miami, the MMG foot soldier received a $150,000 bond and was placed on house arrest this afternoon. Gunplay, birth name Richard Morales, turned himself in to Miami-Dade Police October 18, 2012 for an outstanding robbery warrant. This warrant stemmed from an incident April 13th, when Gunplay allegedly robbed a man at a local tax business. Gunplay’s lawyer provided the following statement in an email earlier today: “The state did not prove that Mr. Morales was a flight risk or a threat to the community. He should be home with his family shortly. This is the first step in clearing his name so he can continue his emerging music career.
