Wiz Khalifa fans will have to wait a little bit longer to hear his next batch of new music.

That’s because, Wiz just announced that his highly-anticipated album, O.N.I.F.C., has been pushed back from August 28 originally to September 18.

“We moved it to September 18,” Wiz confirmed to FUSE.

Having said that, the Rostrum Records flagship MC and Pittsburgh native promises that the eagerly-anticipated follow-up to last year’s smash LP, Rolling Papers, will be worth the wait.

“It’s really like the highest level of what people expect from me,” Wiz said of O.N.I.F.C. (Only Ni--a In First Class). “People know me for a lot of different things—they know me for making like big hooks, they know me for picking dope-ass beats, they know me for spitting. This album is really just gonna portray all of that in the best way possible and the best order possible too because there’s all types of songs on there, to the point where if you never heard rap before in your life and you listen to O.N.I.F.C., you’re gonna be like, ‘I’m a fan of that’ and that’s where I was trying to go with it.

Heavyweight producers such as Pharrell and Jim Jonsin have been confirmed for the project.
