Scott Storch was arrested in a Las Vegas hotel on the morning of Feb. 4, TMZ has learned.

Sources told the celebrity news/gossip website that Storch wouldn’t pay for his hotel room and when police arrived to the scene, they uncovered cocaine belonging to the producer. Storch was then taken to a nearby police station and released on $5,000 bail.

The news marks an unfortunate twist for Storch. The producer infamously blew a $30 million fortune—that he earned off crafting hits for the likes for Dr. Dre, 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg and Fat Joe—after getting hooked on drugs in 2006, but did check into rehab and was working on his road to full recovery.

"The cost of the drug didn't effect my life," Storch told MTV News back in 2009. "It was the poor decisions I made, that were so poor financially, that caused me to go into this situation where I was forced to change my lifestyle ... forced to change a lot of things.

"[I had] 15 to 20 cars at all times," he continued. “That's not smart. I would take one of 15 half-million-dollar cars I owned and go to the mall and spend that much money. Stupid, stupid stuff. It's like it didn't make a difference. They were ego investments. I would have been great with three or four cars! I didn't need a 117-foot boat."

In June of 2008, Storch also had his $10 million Miami mansion foreclosed on for a failure of paying his property taxes and owing Uncle Sam $500,000.

Storch, most known for being a skilled piano and keyboard player, concocted hits like 50’s “Candy Shop,” the Terror Squad’s smash single, “Lean Back” and helped produce riffs for Dre’s, “Still D.R.E.” He also notoriously dated Lil Kim. —Jakinder Singh
