Flavor Flav, iconic Public Enemy hypeman, reality show maven and recent restaurant owner, was arrested over the weekend in Las Vegas on four outstanding warrants. According to TMZ and confirmed by Vegas police, Flav, real name William Jonathan Drayton, Jr., committed a routine traffic violation and was discovered to have outstanding warrants by police after they ran his license.

All warrants were related to unresolved traffic violations, including driving without proof of insurance, a parking violation and two instances of being caught driving without a valid license. After the 10:57 p.m. stop last Friday (April 29), Flav was imprisoned, booked and released.

The arrest capped a difficult month for Flav. Last week, it was revealed that his Clinton, Iowa fried chicken restaurant, which he once claimed was destined to become a chain, was closed down after significant problems with business partner Nicki Cimino. The closure also came after former employees claimed that they quit due to poor payment practices.
