Cam'ron has been hard to pin down the past couple years. His appearances have been few and far between, and Jim Jones and Juelz Santana have branched off to become the face of the Diplomats movement.

Jones separated from the Dipset business fold, however, when he inked a solo deal with Sony Records. Now, Santana will be able to move forward as his own boss as well.

Hot 97's Miss Info reports exclusively that Cam'ron has sold the contract of Juelz Santana to Def Jam. The young rapper now will deal directly with the label, lifting the layers of businessmen involved that had been plaguing the status of his next album, Born to Lose, Built to Win.

According to Cam'ron, he told Info that the contract was sold for $2 Million.

Like Jones, Juelz distanced himself from his former mentor. Santana joined 50 Cent on stage in New York during the G-Unit rapper's 5 Borough Tour, in spite of Fif's verbal taunts toward Cam'ron. Jones also joined 50 and performed "We Fly High" at the Hammerstein Ballroom.

Santana said his next mixtape, The Regan Era, will be released shortly.---Anthony Thomas
