XXL Freshmen 2015 is coming and the freshman hopefuls are gearing up to possibly make this year’s class. With the10th Spot voting happening now, we have to let the potentials tell us why they should appear on this year’s cover.

Boldy James was one of the first artists signed to Nas' Mass Appeal Records. He initially popped up on the scene in 2009 featured on The Cool Kids and Don Cannon's mixtape,  Merry Christmas, on the songs “BBQ Wings” and "Tires”.  He followed with the song “Gettin Flicked," to positive reviews and appeared on Chip Tha Rapper's “Fat Raps” remix alongside Big Sean, Asher Roth, Dom Kennedy and Chuck Inglish. He released his debut mixtape,  Trappers Alley Pros and Cons in May 2011, later unveiling the Consignment: Favor For A Favor The Redi-rock mixtape  in 2012, and most recently Trappers Alley 2 this year. In October 2013, Boldy unveiled his independently released debut studio album, My 1st Chemistry Set, entirely produced by Alchemist. The XXL Freshmen 10th Spot will run from March 16 to March 22. This is where the public gets the chance to vote an artist into XXL Freshmen Class.
