Killer Mike's rise from scene stealer on OutKast records to successful solo artist and social activist has been nothing short of remarkable. Now the rapper is using his voice to support 2016 Presidential candidate Bernie Sanders and invited the Senator from Vermont into his Atlanta barbershop for a conversation about his policies and plan for the country if elected as the Leader of the Free World.

The six-part series, titled Talking Shop With Bernie Sanders, features conversations on economics, social justice, health care and other hot topics heading into the election. The spirited conversation is raw, intelligent, entertaining and Mike brings out the best of the politician. Check it out above.

Mike and Sanders have been seen together on numerous occasions over the last month. While Sanders was in Atlanta for a campaign rally, which is when the Talking Shop interview was filmed, the rapper introduced and publicly endorsed Sanders in front of the politician's supporters.

"I'm not here to talk about benevolent politicians that are going to come and save the day for you. I'm not here to talk about a dream that we think is unattainable so we settle for less," said Mike in his speech. "I'm talking about a revolutionary. I have no time in my short 40 years on this earth to relive the Reagan years. I have no desire to see us elect our own Margaret Thatcher. I am here as a proponent for political revolution that says health care is a right for every citizen. I am here because working class and poor people deserve a chance at economic freedom."

Mike isn't the only rapper to publicly support a candidate. Here is a list of rappers' 2016 presidential endorsements.
