Today, YFN Lucci drops his latest project, 650Luc: Gangsta Grillz. Hosted by DJ Drama, the 17-track mixtape featuring bangers with Young Dolph, T.I., Fabolous, Trouble and Jeezy is expected to hold day-one fans over until he delivers the much anticipated Wish Me Well 3 project. During a recent trip to the XXL office, where he previewed the project, the “Everyday We Lit” rapper sat down to revisit some of his most classic tweets.

Hit with a blast from the past, Lucci spoke on things like being hacked by an ex-girlfriend and landing a Lil Wayne collaboration with the help of 2 Chainz. Take a stroll down memory lane with YFN Lucci as he breaks down his old tweets.

Well before everything was lit, the Atlanta rapper dealt with girl problems like many of us. “They were hacking my page and all types of crazy shit, so I had to change it and get a new everything and tell people to come follow me again,” he said after reading a tweet from 2012, which reads, “Dis hoe done hid all of my shit man this hoe gotta goooooooooo.”

Three years ago, Lucci tweeted, "GOT ONE WITH THE GREATEST RAPPER ALIVE OOOHHHHHHHH WE GOT THE KEYS." Turns out Lucci had just scored a coveted Wayne verse for the remix to the song "Keys to the Streets."

"I think that when I got Wayne on the remix to 'Keys to the Streets' and I probably had first heard it for the first time and tweeted it," the rhymer shares. "I was excited probably. I ain't even really just think it was gonna happen the way it happen... I hit 2 Chainz. Dae Dae hit 2 Chainz manager. They was like, shit, they gon hit... they ain't never tell me he said yeah. They just come back with a verse." Just in time since Lucci was in the hospital at that moment and needed some good news.

Watch the video above to see YFN Lucci reveal the stories behind some of his most entertaining Twitter moments from the past and why he almost threw a toy Elmo “out da door.”
