Kidd Kenn Details His Big Plans for the Future in New Freestyle

Still in high school, 16-year-old Chicago rapper Kidd Kenn has already made a name for himself with his rhymes. The rapper first garnered hundreds of thousands of views with his unique twist on tracks like 6ix9ine's “Gummo” and FBG Duck’s “Slide.” After introducing several official singles of his own, including “Fake Shit” and the Queen Key-assisted “Eriod,” he dropped his drill-heavy, debut project, Childish, in 2018. To showcase his skills, the “Petty” rapper, who recently reunited with Queen Key for a track on her Eat My Pussy Again project, drops a new freestyle for XXL’s What I Do series.

“Don’t play with me/Never had to care what people had to say to me/The toughest niggas on the block, the ones acting gay to me,” spits the openly gay rapper.

A self-coined leader of the new school, the confident teenager rhymes of his big plans for the future. “Want a hotel, not a chain, I need a place to be/By the time I’m 25 I’ll have a place to eat/Quick to judge me, but never seen the shit I see/See my plan working now, they tryna steal the recipe/I gotta do this right, so I need my girls next to me/Color in the box, none of these niggas checking me," Kenn delivers.
