Before the 2019 XXL Freshman class will be revealed this summer, the Freshman hopefuls are here to show and prove why they deserve a spot in this year’s class. The 10th Spot voting will launch on March 25, which means hip-hop's rising newcomers are vying for a spot on the 2019 XXL Freshman cover.

Pine Bluff, Ark. has yet to produce a rap star, but Cee Kay is trying to change that. In a short period of time, the young rapper has risen from the gritty streets of his hometown to become the chosen one with his unadulterated street raps. After breaking onto the scene in 2016, with tracks like "Skrilla" and "Shot 4 Shot," Cee Kay made noise with his hardbody single “No Remorse” in January and followed up the next month with the equally gritty track “Dangerous.”

In March, he turned up the heat by dropping “Pressure,” his collab with YoungBoy Never Broke Again. The video has raked in over 1 million views via YouTube. Currently making a name for himself in the game, Cee Kay is hoping to reach his potential.

Now that you've heard his pitch, remember to vote for your favorite artist beginning March 25. The 2019 XXL Freshman 10th Spot will run for one week. This is where the public gets the chance to vote an artist into the XXL Freshman Class. Go here to make your vote count for your favorite artist.
