Kanye West, Lil Wayne and More Perform at XXXTentacion’s ‘Skins’ Album Release Party

It was a night that XXXTentacion fans will never forget. On Thursday (Dec. 6), the XXXTentacion Foundation, EMPIRE, Yes Julz and 1AM Creative hosted the ultimate listening event for the late South Florida rapper's posthumous Skins album, which went down more like a festival featuring Kanye West, Lil Wayne and plenty more in Miami.

Along with the Members Only crew, the collective XXXTentacion launched with Ski Mask The Slump God, who also performed last night, other artists who respected or have worked with Jahseh Onfroy in the past, like PnB Rock, Trippie Redd and Matt Ox, all hit the stage to honor the “Bad” rapper. However, it was the surprise guests of the night, Lil Wayne and Kanye West, who shocked the crowd with their set.

DJ Scheme, XXXTentacion’s longtime friend and go-to DJ, kicked off the night by bringing Jahseh’s entire Florida-based crew Members Only onstage for an epic performance. Kid Trunks, Ikabod Veins, Cooliecut, Tankhead666, Robb Banks, Flyboy Tarantino, JMob, Kin$oul, Bass Santana and the rest of the Members Only crew invaded the stage to perform a select few tracks that their fans love, and, of course, open up a few mosh pits. Afterwards, Motown Records rapper Matt Ox came through to perform a few songs including his collaboration with XXXTentacion called “$$$,” off X's ? album.

Later on, PnB Rock took the stage in honor of Jahseh. The Atlantic Records rapper performed his own slew of hits like his infectious chorus from “Everyday We Lit,” “Selfish” and his collab with X, "Changes." Trippie Redd was the next rhymer to hit the stage. Midway through his set, the “Topanga” rapper got everyone in attendance to partake in a moment of silence for Jahseh before he performed “Dark Knight Dummo.”

The real moshing went down once Ski Mask The Slump God hit the stage once again. This time, he controlled the mic and performed an array of crowd favorites from “DoIHaveTheSauce?” to his rambunctious hit with XXXTentacion “Take a Step Back.”

Next up, Lil Wayne made a surprise appearance at the Skins concert. Tha Carter V MC hit the stage to perform “Don’t Cry,” his posthumous collaboration with Jahseh, live for the first time. And no there weren’t any faux Jahseh’s by his side.

After Weezy left the scene, the fans got to hear more of the posthumous album. Once “One Minute” came on, Kanye West made his grand entrance and performed his verse for the first time. “So much hate at the top, it's a lonely place/When you find out the opps ain't the only snakes,” Kanye raps. “And your spouse only know what you don't erase/The world only know you by your worst mistakes/So spaz on they ass, that's the only way/Smash on the gas down, stoney, ayy.”
