Young Thug "Gain Clout" Video

The release of Young Thug's new Slime Language compilation mixtape may have been interrupted by his recent arrest but he isn't letting that affect the rollout of the project. On Friday (Aug. 17), the Atlanta rapper delivered the video for the song, "Gain Clout."

Directed by Millicent Hailes, the video shows Thugger flexing in front of an antique whip while rocking designer threads. "All of these young niggas killin' each other/They tryna just gain clout/How you gon' lie, just say that I said that/The fuck is you talkin' about?" he quickly spits on the chorus of the Smoke and Keyyz-produced track. "I had the dick inside of her mouth and I still had the chopper out/I put the bitch inside of a Range, the way she suckin' my cock."

Things get trippier with eye-catching graphic backdrops. Other shots show women posing in front of motorcycles and a Delorean. Thug later whips the Back to the Future ride.

The song appears as track No. 3 on Slime Language, released on Thugger's Young Stoner Life Records. The new project features appearances from Lil Uzi Vert, Gunna, Lil Baby, Jacquees, Tracy T and more. On the production end, Weezy, Super, Turbo, Billboard Hitmakers and more provided beats.

Thug's celebration of the project was cut short when he was arrested at his own album listening party in Los Angeles. Cops arrested him outside of Dave and Busters, where the event was being held, and charged him with possession of a concealed firearm in a vehicle.
