Earlier today (June 27), a literal legion of fans made their way Sunrise, Fla.'s BT&T Center to pay their respects to XXXTentacion at a special open-casket public viewing for the rapper who was shot and killed in Deerfield Beach, Fla. on June 18. During the ceremony, a touching tribute video created by Justin Staple, Quinton Dominguez, and Tyler Benz played for fans, friends and family.

With a strong philosophical streak, emotionally-charged lyrics and limitless musical range, XXXTentacion left an indelible mark on fans across the world. This new tribute video includes footage of X in concert and at work doing charitable deeds for his Helping Hand Foundation. Filled with popular X songs like "Jocelyn Flores" and "Alone, Part 3" and viral clips of the rapper's social media speeches about self-empowerment and the capacity for change, X's memorial video is a condensed version of all that made the rapper so appealing to fans.

The memorial the tribute video was played at was attended by people like Lil Uzi Vert, PnB Rock, Denzel Curry and Fat Nick. Taking place from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m., the event was thought to have been attended by thousands people of all different ages and races. The event was, like this new tribute video, a microcosm of X's singular cross-demographic appeal.

X's murder is unsolved, but the Broward Sheriff's Office continues to make progress on identifying those involved. Last Wednesday (June 20), they announced the arrest of Dedrick Williams, who police believe to have been the getaway driver for X's attackers. He has since pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder, but police are still searching for two additional suspects. Earlier today, authorities identified 22-year-old Robert Allen as their second person of interest in the case.
