Tru Life's rap career has been a bumpy one, but since becoming a Freebandz signee back in 2017 the rapper has kept the momentum going by dropping off ruthless bars. This time around, Tru is turning his attention to the ladies with the video for his new song "Baddie" featuring Future.

Under the direction of Eif Rivera, the newly released visual finds the two rappers reveling in the pleasures of cigars and beautiful women. The video is complete with rustic vibes and plenty of Belair champagne as Tru spits about his ability to turn the average woman into a baddie.

"You know damn well my drip ain't like these niggas/You can't be treating me like that/You know damn well keep a check on me/Dont make me have to go back in my bag," Tru spits assertively.

While his legal woes seemingly put a halt in his music career, that simply wasn't enough to keep the NY rapper from delivering a slew of bangers. Back in 2011, Tru was sentenced to a five year jail stint for gang assault after a brawl at a nightclub led to a fatal stabbing. Since his release in 2016, Tru has delivered several new records including "Last Night" and "Bang Bang," a clear warning to all "mumble rappers."
