Playboi Carti unleashes an energetic new video. This one is for "R.I.P.," a standout cut from his previously released debut album, Die Lit.

Checking in at just a little over three minutes, the new black and white video, which dropped earlier today (June 11), finds Carti rocking his head back and forth before bouncing around in a mosh pit. Interestingly enough, the A$AP Mob's AWGE (creative agency) insignia flashes across the screen at the very end of the video, indicating their involvement with the new clip. Looking at the video, it makes sense considering the crew have made a brand out of combining dark aesthetics with the playful vibes of the Harlem-based collective. All together, the video for "R.I.P." blends perfectly with a song that manages to be lighthearted and aggressive.

Using his Twitter account, Carti makes it clear he's a fan of the new video. "RIP **!! +:) wow ! i love this !!" he wrote earlier today. "WHOLE SQUAD OFF DA SHITT IN DIS VID ** 👽"

Carti's new video comes a little over a month after the Atlanta artist popped up onstage at the 2018 Rolling Loud Miami. After keeping his fans waiting a fairly long time for some new tunes, he performed Die Lit, which he dropped the same day Rolling Loud began. Here's to hoping we get more new music from the ATL artist.
