Following the release of his Ocean & Montana and Magnolia EPs in 2017, Buddy has had a lot to be happy about and in his latest music video for "Hey Up There" featuring Ty Dolla $ign, the Compton, Calif. rapper celebrates his success.

The video, which was released on June 20 and takes place in Compton, finds Buddy flying through the air in a helicopter as he looks down on his city. Buddy and Ty Dolla also post up on the runway with their crew, while rapping about their newfound riches. "Hey up there I'm on my way up/Tell the radio to play us/Blame it on the place I grew up/Hit that land mine then I blew up," Buddy raps in the video.

"Hey Up There" serves as the lead single from Buddy's upcoming debut album, Harlan & Alondra. Announced last week, the project is set to release on July 20. "My debut album drops July 20th 'Harlan & Alondra' are the cross streets to where I grew up in Compton, and the inspiration for my music," the rapper wrote on Instagram.

The debut offering will be Buddy's first project since the release of the Magnolia EP in August 2017. The five-track EP includes guest appearances from Wiz Khalifa, Kent Jones and Boogie, while the production on the project is handled by duo Mike & Keys. A tracklist for Buddy's upcoming project has yet to be revealed.

Buddy also recently partnered with Cactus Plant Flea Market for a new shirt that reads, "A Buddy with weed... is a Buddy indeed!" According to the site, more products will be available soon.
