Energy is Desiigner's greatest gift, and it's something you can sense whether he's delivering one of his typically speaker-thumping bangers or reading a children's book. Recently, XXL had Desiigner try out the latter, and the results were sensational.

In the latest edition of XXL's Da Art of Storytellin', the newly minted 21-year-old takes the time to read Panda Bear, Panda Bear, What Do You See?, a children's book written by Bill Martin, Jr. and illustrated by Eric Carle. Let's just say the G.O.O.D. Music artist definitely adds some flavor to the bedtime story, onomatopoeias and all. He knows his pandas.

Reading off couplets from the book, Desiigner injects bits of snapping and rhythm as he delivers the story, which was originally published in 2003. Desiigner's reading almost sounds like he's in the stu' getting off ad-libs for a "Panda (Remix)," and we're definitely here for it. It's something you've got to see for yourself.

Desiigner just unleashed his long-awaited L.O.D. EP, a seven-track EP that includes all the throttling bangers and melody we've come to expect from the 2016 XXL Freshman who turned up with Pusha T at the project's release party last night in New York City.
