Trippie Redd Previews New Song, Teases Debut Album

Trippie Redd's debut album could be coming very, very soon. The Canton, Ohio-bred rapper hinted as much in an Instagram post he uploaded on Monday morning (April 9).

In the caption for the post, which includes video of the rapper previewing some new music, Trippie gets interactive with the fans. "How you feel Trip ? comment 🔇 if you ready for the album," he wrote, and his followers did so in earnest.

The music itself features some guitar and finds Trippie crooning his heart out as he flaunts a flossy watch. He didn't offer much in the way of details regarding the music or a release date for the album, but he did showcase some of the sounds that have propelled him to stardom over the last year. The melody is pretty much as smooth as it gets, and so is the the guitar that's carrying it.

Trippie hasn't dropped a project since last October's Angels & Demons with Lil Wop, so we can only hope his latest teaser means the drought is soon coming to an end. From sounds of things, though, Trippie's clearly in top form.
