Run The Jewels are keeping things all about the music, and they took to The Late Show with Stephen Colbert stage last night (April 25) to perform their latest record, "Thursday in the Danger Room." Being friends and veteran performers on the show, El-P and Killer Mike keep the focus on their lyrics for the simplistic set.

Before kicking off the track, El-P tells the crowd that the performance is "dedicated to anyone who lost their life too soon." Backed simply by a DJ, the two MCs stand side-by-side while they spit the innovative bars from the somber track.

"Thursday in the Danger Room," which originally features jazz saxophonist Kamasi Washington, comes straight off of the group's Run The Jewels 3 album that dropped back in December 2016.

Run The Jewels have kept busy with new material for fans since the beginning of 2018. They dropped visuals for their "Oh Mama" record, which recruits Adult Swim's beloved cartoon stars Rick and Morty. At the top of the year, their "Legend Has It" song was also featured in a commercial for Marvel's Black Panther.
