Ace Hood takes 'em to church in his video for "Testify," a cut he dropped off at the very end of 2017. He dropped the video April 11.

Filmed in black and white, the "Testify" visual finds Ace rocking all black as he heads to church and sits back in a pew. Church is supposed to be a tranquil place, but Ace Hood's intense bars and fierce delivery make a jarring contrast.

"They say when it goes around, it comes around/You say that they stole the flow, that's hand-me-downs/Ya'll just ain't as tough unless ya'll man's around/I'm gon' call your bluff but ain't no snow around," Ace spits, referencing the film, Snow in the Bluff in his last bar.

While Ace Hood's always been pretty prolific musically, its been a while since he dropped off an actual album. Speaking with XXL last November, the Florida rapper explained some of the reason he hadn't dropped a new LP since 2013's Trials & Tribulations.

"Well, the layoff hasn't been four years," he began before noting he'd still been dropping music without putting out a new album. "I was rapping [on] projects during that time and during that process, but as far as the album, the album took a little longer. But I just kinda needed to work on myself I needed to find my thing and figure out what was important to me, what I needed to say, who I am, the path where I was going and be able to understand it fully and trust it, you know what I'm saying, most importantly. So that's really where I been, just really spending time and enriching my life and the people that I love and care about."

Here's to hoping we get a new Ace Hood LP this year. For now, check out Ace Hood's new video for "Testify" below.
