Scarface makes his return. Today (Dec. 1), the Houston-based rap legend announces his new 10-track album, Deeply Rooted: The Lost Files, a continuation of his 2015 LP, Deeply Rooted. For the project, he's also unveiled a video for his new song, "Black Still." But first, let's talk a little bit about The Lost Files.

The new project checks in at 10 tracks, with six of them being new and an additional four being alternate versions of tracks from Deeply Rooted. The Lost Files drops on Dec. 15.

Now, for "Black Still." The N.O. Joe-produced song is a re-imagining of Public Enemy's "Black Steel in the Hour of Chaos," and like the song it pays homage to, it finds its performer addressing societal ills, namely, racism. The Dr. Teeth-directed visual for the track juxtaposes archival footage from the civil rights movement with protests of today and a young Black man in the library.

"I'm a god, but they callin' me a nigga/They scared of me, so they hide behind the trigger," spits Facemob on the track.

Scarface has also released "Same Ol Same," a track that finds the rapper reflecting on street life in the past and present.

You can check out "Black Still," "Same Ol Same" and the tracklist below. Pre-order Deeply Rooted: The Lost Files on iTunes. Check out his "Born Sinner" while you're at it.
