After dropping his Nicki Minaj-assisted song "The Way Life Goes (Remix)" in early November, Lil Uzi Vert teams up with the New York rapper again, this time for the song's video.

Directed by DAPS, the visuals kick off with Lil Uzi tied to a tree in a forest. The video then moves to Nicki in a cabin, surrounded by ropes and weapons. After implying that Nicki may be responsible for Uzi's situation, the visuals switch back to the Philadelphia rapper, who is still tied to the tree.

While it appears Uzi will be saved, a woman sporting all black walks up to the rapper and suffocates him with plastic. She then begins to dig a grave for the rapper's body before the video fades to black.

Although the song released in November, Nicki revealed in October that the remix had been done for quite some time. Responding to a fan who asked about the track, Minaj said, "Been done!!! But apparently someone somewhere wants to hold back on putting it out right now. It's not me & it's not Uzi tho. Tea anyone?"

In related Lil Uzi Vert news, the rapper will compete against SZA, Khalid and singer Julia Michaels at the upcoming 2018 Grammy Awards for the Best New Artist award. Lil Uzi is also nominated for Best Rap Performance with Migos thanks to their collaboration, "Bad and Boujee."
