So it turns out Cardi B's platinum-selling hit "Bodak Yellow" really is everywhere. Recently, Joliet, Ill. math teacher Cassie Crim created an academics-centric remix to the song, uploading an accompanying video for the track last week.

Titled "Codak Yellow," the song finds Crim spitting about life as a teacher and her interactions with students. "You in school, gotta learn, I'm there—I get paid a fee/I be in and out of school so much, I know they tired of me," she raps.

Crim said the song is a way to relate to her students. "I really just try to connect what I do in my class room as a teacher with things they enjoy," she told Chicago's local ABC affiliate. "I was able to speak their language to break down some of those barriers because I know a lot of my students in math, they struggle and they hate it."

Speaking on the impact, Crim claimed a student who really wasn't too big of a math fan told her "Codak Yellow" inspired them to work harder. Looks like her video worked.

Crim isn't the only teacher to use hip-hop to reach students. Back in August, one teacher used a modified version of "Bodak Yellow" to teach geography. In October, another teacher used had sixth graders create a remix to Tee Grizzley's "First Day Out." All good news.
