Last week, a Twitter user named Chelsea accused The Gaslamp Killer of raping she and her friend after a concert four years ago, offering a detailed account of the alleged encounter. Now, it appears Gaslamp Killer's producer contemporary Flying Lotus has stepped forth to defend him against the rape allegations.

Ending his set at a Red Bull event this past weekend, FlyLo played a song from Gaslamp Killer and appeared to address the allegations, which quickly spread around Twitter after they were posted. "The internet is a fuckin’ liar. Ain’t nobody judge and jury but the fuckin’ law, okay? Thank you guys so much for coming, let truth and justice have its day,” said the producer/film-maker. Lotus and Gaslamp Killer have collabed in the past.

According to Chelsea, The Gaslamp Killer drugged she and her friend before having sex with them after a concert four years ago. "The Gaslamp Killer drugged my best friend and myself at a party at the Standard Hotel, had non-consensual sex with both of us while we were completely incapacitated, and then dumped us back in front of the standard after it happened,” reads her harrowing account of the ordeal.

Hours after Chelsea's accusation, Gaslamp Killer issued his own statement, claiming to have had witnesses come forth to discount Chelsea's allegations, which he has denied.
