Los Angeles-bred MC KR pulls up with The Intermission, his second project in the last nine months (following It Could Happen). He's also dropped off a new video for "Party," his first single from the project.

Like his last project, The Intermission showcases KR's uniquely dynamic songwriting skills. At seven tracks, it's a perfectly concise display of all that makes him such a dynamic artist.

His Megan Gamez-directed new video for "Party" is a playful one that finds the rapper vying for the attention of a baddie while working in a restaurant. Does he succeed? We'll let you find out for yourself. KR says the visual was inspired by his experiences with the ladies.

“I was encouraged to display a visual showing the different types of encounters I've had with women; all in one setting,” KR reveals. “From being the guy who is not cool enough, all the way to getting a smoothie poured on my head, I’ve experienced it all. I realized later that I've actually attracted more women when I show no interest in them; which is kind of confusing."

"Party" is just one of several tracks you'll want to give your attention to when listening to The Intermission. Stream KR's newest project below. Watch his "Party" video beneath that.
