It's been a minute since Chicago rapper Towkio released a visual showcasing his Midwestern flow, but now he's come through with a new video for "Drift," his newest single.

The "Drift" music video features the Save Money member riding around scenic Mexico City with professional drifters. It all showcases his impressive dancing skills and a little hot air balloon action. Directed by Todd Burr and Towkio himself, the rapper went on to talk about the importance of "Drift" via Twitter, tweeting, "If u hav ever had love for me plz share this vid! I put my life on da line/ heart & soul into this work!"

Drift will likely be featured on the rhymer's forthcoming project WWW, due out sometime this year.

Though "Drift" was produced by Lido, Knox Fortune and Smoko Ono, a lot of work to come from Towkio has been blessed by the legendary Rick Rubin. Earlier this year, Rubin played an unreleased track of Towkio's for Kanye West, who was impressed by his fellow hometown native's work. "I played swim for Kanye today. He loved it," Rick texted to Towkio, to which he posted the screenshot to his Instagram account.

Most recently Towkio performed at the Hangout Music Fest in Gulf Shores, Ala., joining other hip-hop artists like A$AP Ferg, Lil Yachty and Chance The Rapper during the festive three-day event. Shortly before that, he appeared as a guest feature on KAMI's new album, Just Like the Moviesrapping alongside Joey Purp, Knox Fortune and Vic Mensa on the title track.
