J. Cole loves his privacy and keeping things to himself, including in the making of his music, but every so often, we'll get a real gem from him. Last night, the "Legendary" rapper performed at his Anaheim, Calif. stop on his 4 Your Eyez Only tour, where he revealed an amazing secret about his "Neighbors" track off of his 4 Your Eyez Only album.

While performing his 2013 Born Sinner record, "Forbidden Fruit" for the packed crowd, Cole slowed down the record, where he told the crowd to "listen." As the track slowed down, the DJ started playing it in reverse, revealing the perfect transition into "Neighbors" off of his latest album. The crowd applauded in awe once they figured out that the "Neighbors" beat is actually the "Forbidden Fruit" instrumental backwards.

While the instrumentals do sound like the reverse versions of each other, there are a few aspects missing. The "Neighbors" beat does sound as though there were some snares removed from the "Forbidden Fruit" instrumental, with the tempo also being adjusted.

This is far from the first time that Cole has revealed a hidden gem to his fans, as he also unveiled a hidden verse on Logic's "AfricAryaN” song on the rapper's Everybody album from earlier this year.
