Hip-hop has had its differences between the old guard and the new school for years. Some of it has been nurturing and a lot of it has been heavily critical. In Snoop Dogg's new video for "Moment I Feared," Snoop makes his stance on a handful of the younger artists, like perhaps Young Thug and Lil Uzi Vert, pretty clear.

The Dah Dah-directed video frames the music video as part of an episode of Snoop Dogg's GGN News with guest Rick Rock, who is also featured on the song. They start to share their mutual respect for the new cats before the video eventually cuts to the actual music video for "Moment I Feared." Throughout the video, you can clearly spot a man dressed like Young Thug on his cover for Jefferypicking out a dress and posing in heels. In other shots, the same person more closely resembles Lil Uzi Vert when he wore his attention-grabbing t-shirt.

Afterwards, Snoop interviews the Young Thug-look alike who is actually a rapper named Fonz Dlow and promotes his new album No Filter. Although Snoop doesn't explicitly call out Fonz for his style of hip-hop, the suggestion on his part is obvious: he respects the originality but finds the fashion and behavior laughable. The man who plays the new rapper certainly looks like a complete caricature of Young Thug and some of his eccentric contemporaries, literally pulling out an emoji from his purse at one point and rapping in conversation.

Rick Rock, who produced this song, has worked with Tupac, E-40, JAY-Z and others. "Moment I Feared" appears on Snoop's last album Neva Left.
