Jimmy Wopo is poised to be the next great rapper from Pittsburgh. Last year, the talented MC released his breakthrough single “Elm Street” to much acclaim. A year later, Jimmy unleashes a sequel for the song that’s just as good.

“Elm Street 2” arrives with a music video, which shows Jimmy is not a person to cross. The Pennsylvania native also makes it clear through his rhymes.

“Choppa make him JuJu on the Beat/I got some hittas that be moving deep/That’s them niggas that’ll juug and creep/Got that MAC with them attachments, that bitch shoot, repeat/And that bitch got range, I let it shoot from deep/Ain’t been no sellout, been no fake, ain’t been hard to reach/I just do the same shit niggas do for me,” Jimmy raps.

“Elm Street 2” appears on Jimmy’s new mixtape Jordan Kobe. The rapper spoke to XXL about the project, which can be streamed now on SoundCloud.

“The Jordan Kobe mixtape title is based around a project building on Chauncey Drive in the Hill District in Pittsburgh, Pa.,” Jimmy told XXL. “Me and my boys had the key to this abandoned apartment on the first floor and the address was 2423, and we had so much fun that summer. We went through so much shit together, and that crib was the last good memory we all had with my friend, Lumber, who passed away after the summer. On my remix to ‘No Heart,’ I said ‘we on that deuce-four, two-three Jordan Kobe,’ and that bar was just so lit if you know where I was coming from.”
