Master P is an OG in the game, and as a result, many young rappers look to him for advice. In a new interview with The Breakfast Club, the NOLA legend talks about a recent chat with Kodak Black and calls him "one of the next big superstars."

Around the 2:14 mark of the clip (which you can view below), Angela Yee tells Master P that Lil Kodak wanted to reach out to him. Master P says that he did, indeed, holla at Project Baby, and the two of them chopped it up over the phone.

"I think a lot of us - pressure busts pipes when you come from the streets," Master P says. "I feel like Kodak Black is underrated - he's probably going to be one of the next big superstars... When I look at youngsters, I realize that I was once one of them. So I recognize. I love working with them."

Throughout the entire 34-minute interview, the "Make 'Em Say Uhh" rapper also discusses his new artist Paloma Ford, the Donald Trump presidency and more. Toward the end of the clip, Master P's artist Marqus Clae spits a hot freestyle. To hear another Clae freestyle, you can watch him deliver bars in the hopes of earning a 2017 XXL Freshman nomination.

In other Kodak Black-related news, the 2016 XXL Freshman recently announced his first New York City concert, which is slated for March 1 at 8 p.m. at Playstation Theater. More recently, the "No Flockin'" rapper showed off his brand new haircut on social media.
