Following the release of the video for "Womanogamy," Ab-Soul drops the visuals for the Do What Thou Wilt track "Evil Genius" featuring Teedra Moses and JaVonte.

Directed by Yellow Nguyen and Moosa, the visual finds Ab entering a dilapidated home, meandering through the rooms and examining their contents, which include the Oct/Nov 2013 issue of XXL that he appeared on with the rest of Black Hippy. Shameless plug.

Sitting down, he raps by candlelight. "Indecisive, enlightening, frightening idol/With the light-sensitive Eye of the Tiger, fire flame/Dylan times 5 by the way/Skydiving tidal waves/Writing rhymes in oxygen/Scribing sonnets silently/That inspire men and brightening environments/That I have not been in/Obviously opting not to sing songs in sobriety/Subsiding the poison imploding our society," he spits with a rapid-fire delivery.

Sliced in with dark footage from the house are random images that coincide with the rapper's frantic flow.

Soulo chopped it up with XXL earlier this week and revealed his childhood home recently went up in flames. The home appears to be the location for the "Evil Genius" shoot.

“My mama house just burned down a couple weeks ago. I lost everything,” he told us. "All of that fan art and all of that cool stuff. It's all gone."

But there is a silver lining. “I'm still here. Everyone’s safe, nobody got harmed, nobody was hurt. But I’m still here with a smile on my face. I happy, I'm excited. Let me be an inspiration to keep going, no matter what,” he added.
