This past weekend, Kevin Abstract threw a free show in Los Angeles called the All-American Drive-In Prom. The six-minute clip contains footage of the performances along with backstage interactions between Abstract, Tyler, The Creator and Jaden Smith.

The first half of the short film, which you can view above, captures the lead-up to the actual concert: game-planning, setting up, etc. At one point, Abstract reluctantly tells a crowd of fans waiting outside that they have to leave, because the venue is already over capacity.

The rest of the video captures openers like The Neighbourhood and Roy Mabie. At the 4:15 mark of the clip, you can see Abstract and Jaden Smith dapping up and having a brief conversation. Then, Abstract hits the stage at the 4:30 mark (10:02 p.m. actual time). And, toward the end of the video, you'll find Tyler, The Creator chopping it up with some of the openers.

Abstract has also announced a new tour, which kicks off in February. You can view the full tour dates for the Death of a Supermodel Tour below.

In case you missed it, be sure to check out Abstract's latest album, American Boyfriend: A Suburban Love Story. The project features 16 tracks with no guest appearances. Abstract told Interview Magazine the album was influenced by “weird ’90s stuff and early 2000’s pop," which people consider cheesy.

He also discussed how his suburban world influenced the album. “The suburb I’m normally talking about is The Woodlands, Texas; it’s north of Houston,” he said. “It’s typical American suburbia. I draw a lot of inspiration from that. And I don’t know why I’m so intrigued by it yet."
