Along with being one of rap's brightest young stars, Vince Staples is also a funny ass dude. Whether chiming in on the NBA on Twitter or giving his take on the Drake vs. Meek Mill beef, Staples' dry sense of humor and quick wit make him one of the best quotes in hip-hop.

In a running skit with GQ titled, "Vince Staples Reviews Every Goddamn Thing," Vince weighs in on some of the more absurd neckwear seen on rappers like T-Pain, Lil Wayne Jay Z, Pharrell and more. Sitting with Jason Arasheben, a Los Angeles jeweler who has designed pendants for big-time rappers, a blingless Vince provides funny commentary, stories and slick one-liners.

When T-Pain pops up wearing his infamous "big ass chain," Vince credits the jewelry as responsible for the artist's downfall.

When Lil Wayne is shown, Staples says, "Birdman give him his money, please."

When Migos flash on the screen wearing their Quality Control chains, Vince can't help but crack a joke. "Those are very loud," he said. "Very 'I go to the mall in Atlanta.' Very 'True Religion has a sale, we're about to go buy the whole store.'"

As much as Staples likes to joke on camera, the rapper has also shown a serious side and proved that he's willing to publicly fight for fair pay from streaming services. During a SXSW performance last month, the Summertime '06 MC performed at a Spotify House event and openly criticized the company during his set.

"Shout out to Spotify,” he said. “Thank you for giving me this check to make up for what you’ve done to me and all my musical friends...Listen to your favorite album 1,000, 2,000 times so everybody can get an album sale.”

Whether taking a stand for his fellow artists or cracking jokes at their expense, Vince Staples can do it all.
