As one of the most consistent MCs in the game, Curren$y once again pushes the envelope by releasing his Revolver EP as a short film directed by CJ Wallis. Featuring six new tracks produced entirely by Sledgren, the music serves as a soundtrack to a short film revolving around a planned heist and subsequent revenge story in Spitta's hometown of New Orleans.

Keeping in touch with his Cash Money and 'Nawlins roots, the Jet Life MC casted T.Y., Young Juvie and Lil Soulja Slim--the sons of B.G., Juvenile and Soulja Slim--in starring roles. Also in the film are members of the Jet Life clique including DJ Duffey, Cornerboy P, Mr. Marcelo, Mousa Hamdan and, of course, Curren$y. In true Spitta fashion, Revolver features plenty of classic muscle cars, dogs, weed smoke and slapping instrumentals.

Curren$y and Sledgren announced the Revolver project in the summer of 2015 but at some point decided to make a flick instead of releasing the project as a traditional EP, which likely held things up.

This is Spitta's second release in less than a week. On March 25, the hard-working rapper dropped Weed and Instrumentals, a 17-track effort that features plenty of his Jet Life family and frequent collaborators like Le$ and Fiend.
